A little bit of “clapping coach” content here. If I’m a Longhorn (well, I guess I am, actually), this sounds a little like latter day Mack Brown. All that’s missing is the vote of confidence from the AD.

And I would respond to Sark, how many of those other programs have the expectations and backing that UT has. Maybe 5 other schools? He’s just pouting because he got asked some difficult questions

Texas sounds more and more aggy everyday. It’s gotta be frustrating to be a longhorn fan this year.

I support the Aggies. Aggy is claiming a national championship and Heisman preseason and then falling flat on your face. The Aggies have definitely done that before, but this year, that honor goes to Texas.

No true fan claimed a Heisman or preseason, that would be the media. Natty I thought we would compete but never said natty or bust and no true fan did either. However not making the playoffs would be a disapointment for sure. However, depends how it happens. If we win out but lose to UGA then (and OSU is legit) than shows it was stupid to schedule OSU and from now on just schedule middling Big 12 and Big 10 or ACC teams in OOC. No reason to play at the Shoe game 1, does nothing for you.

What kind of loser messaging is that? That a top-ranked team can't go into Columbus or Gainesville and win? This ain't just 1 of 135 teams he is coaching. It was supposed to be a Top 5 team.
