Oklahoma owned them for 20+ years in the Big 12. Every UT fan said they would beat Ohio State, Arch would win the Heisman, and they would own the SEC and CFB, because their blue hair money of Austin would allow them to be kings. Texas has some of if not 75% of all the best high school football all players, supposedly, although”per capita I think Louisiana, Georgia and Mississippi does”,
And yet they always seem to shite the bed.

Sure they’ll have one year every 15 years where they will win 10 games or more and get so close, to being on top, but they can’t.

Makes no sense because the reality is they have the talent in house, they do have the money, and they do have a faithful and loyal fan base.

Anyways, here’s to another 20+ years of no titles and a 4-5 loss season.

you just enjoy making shite up? I said, before the season, we'd go 8-4 with losses to OSU, Florida, Georgia, and either Oklahoma or Aggie.

of course now I think that's going to most likely be 7-5 or 6-6.

Not all of us have our heads in the sand about just how terrible our head coach is.

It’s pretty much been a state full of queers since the show Dallas hit the airways. Austin’s is perhaps the queerest city in the US. People leave Austin and move to San Francisco to get away from figs, that’s how bad it has become out here.

Crazy shite has happened in RRS. Wouldn’t surprise me if UTrans beat OU.

There are many problems. No one does well with a mentally unstable QB and we don't have guys who can make explosive plays at WR or RB....which is crazy, considering the money we have spent.

The bggest problem is our offensive line. We are starting one 5-star (right tackle) a guy who was barely a 4* and 3 poorly ranked 3*s. All of the talking heads tried to assure us that everything was fine on the offensive line. Well, it sure isn't.

Whomever is allocating our $ and making player personnel decisions is obviously stupid. This year will be rough. We have the means to solve this problem next offseason. Will we do it? Who knows.

Have you seen our offense? You really only need to score 13 or so points to win that game.
It's the RRR and I realize anything can and does happen in that game but I just don't see us winning that game. Not with this team.

Stars aren’t everything on the OL. Reps together are

We hired a guy who is responsible for all of that and as long as he is here we are not solving these issues.

I know he's a Razorback through and through, but it's almost as if Jerry Jones is managing things.

I am well aware of this. I am fascinated by the models used by various media outlets & gurus to predict wins. Returning offensive line starts always is huge in these models. Texas lost 4 o-line starters. There were always going to be some problems.

What we saw yesterday was more than just a lack of reps together. UF had 3 QB sacks before the Texas game. They had six yesterday. Our RB's ran for15 total yards against Florida. This is a talent problem. Star rankings don't lie.

It isn't the head coach playing poorly at QB. It's the head case.

Let me be the first to say - there is no excuse for Texas being mediocre in today's game.

In yesterday's game, we had an excuse. Why don't you ask Nick Saban and Bob Stoops about that.

The fact that horn fans quote problems in terms of stars should provide a hint.

They recruit HS players before they are matured in football. Its a game they’ve played forever. They want to keep on the inside with tx HS coaches so end up taking players that din’t pan out. Their boosters run the show and thats not changing with NIL, only getting worse. They overpaid for Arch and can’t bench him or will upset some money men they’ll need in future. Once tx decides to offer a player their stars increase like Biden's inflation. OU offers players later and finds the gems who have mostly matured.
