Throw out all the 8&4 roller coaster memes. They are legitimately good. The question is.. How good?

Look at the remaining schedule.

Florida
Arkansas
@LSU
@Mizzu
South Carolina
Sanford
@Texas

That’s a completely manageable schedule. In fact, I could see them getting to Atlanta without too much trouble.

10-2 might be a dissatisfying outcome for them. This is an 11 win team… Or better?

No troll, no jinx, no bullshite. Aggie is solid.

They are good if they don’t let Reed throw deep

They for sure won’t lose to Florida

Teams with semi competent QBs and non alcoholic head coaches don’t lose to them this year

They have shown elite offense and defense at different points in the season.

If they could put it all together for 4 quarters of football together they could beat anyone.

Will they? They haven’t through 5 games, but they’re also 5-0.

ETA: Holy shite, the penalties. Forgot about that. One of the most penalized teams in football. If they get that cleaned up they could be great. If not they could lose 3 or 4 road games.

Your bias is showing.

It's hard to win in death valley with all that hoodoo, but this is one year the possibility is higher than previously.

11-1 regular season

Not sure how they would handle UGA, Vols or Gumps in CCG.

I dont think they go far in playoffs though. Line them up against OSU/Oregon/Miami and I think its a ugly loss

@Arkansas. Not that it matters. Just a correction.

This is why you guys still don’t get the SEC

3-4 losses isn’t guaranteed but it’s certainly still possible

Who are you attributing the four losses to?

I agree. Not a terrible schedule for an SEC schedule. No Bama, UGA, Ole Miss, Tennessee. Toughest stretch of games is @ LSU, then @Mizzou, but they get a bye before Mizzou.

This is less true than it has been in the past, teams arent as deep because of the portal. They also avoid the best teams this year, much like Texas last year. The only good offense they faced put 40 on them (Notre Dame). The reality is the QB play in this conference is subpar this year, USC doesnt count because their OL is dogshit

Thing is, I think A&M has an edge on talent and coaching.

I can certainly understand the cautious attitude you and yours have, but as someone who has a rooting interest against you, my eyes see what they see.

@LSU
@Mizzou
@texas

I don't know how well we'll do but those games will largely determine how far we go this season. We have yet to put a complete game together and our opponents haven't exactly been world beaters up to this point.

8-4 is still on the table but would be a disappointment. I'm satisfied with anything 10-2 or higher at this point with a conference/playoff game involved.

Short of LSU finding a running game, we wont win that. Our offense is fricking terrible.

@ Mizzou is the most likely L on your schedule IMO

Texas is dog shite, their best win is against 0-5 Sam houston

Thrilled with 10-2 and the playoffs. Anything less than that feels like a let down at this point.
