Call me old school, but this guy is a perfect example of why college athletics are going downhill.

1. He's been playing college ball for 6 years.
2. It's a mockery to consider him a "student-athlete" at Vanderbilt, it's questionable whether he can even read.
3. He's a total douchebag, reminds me a bit of Manziel.
4. He'll be 25 years old at the end of this school year, talking shite to some opponents who are 18 years of age.
5. He has sued the NCAA, because he wants college athletics to be his career.

any QB that beats Bama is ok in my book...

That being said, I think Bama beats him down bad this weekend...

He’s 2 years older than Jaxson Dart.

Also not a fan of New Mexico Stetson Bennett IV

Let ex-HS QBs play….not professional Jucos

Given the pay scale, why not?

Better to be a top NCAA QB than a 3rd round draft pick.

If he played for the Tigahs you’d love him.

Pretty ridiculous he's playing against guys who were 11 years old when he started his college career.

Completely agree lol. But I do love how he’s made Vanderbilt competitive.

I’m with you 100% on this. I was surprised that he didn’t get back in the portal after 2024 given his personality and history.

That said, he’s clearly the spark plug of generational success at Vanderbilt. His abilities also create difficult matchups for Alabama, and if Bama plays sloppy like in last season’s game, Vandy could very well win again.

And what are you, a middle aged guy at a computer talking crap about a 24 year old college football player?

I much prefer Joey Aguilar over Pavia because he's much more of a pure passer. Joey dropped some NFL level dimes against us.

As opposed to “normal” redshirt seniors playing against guys who were 12 years old when they started their college careers, like Joe Burrow did. My God it’s awful.

I don't blame Pavia
It's on the NCAA
I am worried about college athletics without some guardrails in place
In no competitive sport is your entire roster eligible for free agency

He's not as electric as Manziel was scrambling around but he's a better leader.

I've long thought there needs to be an age limit (23) for participating in college athletics, specifically football. I remember Chris Weinke of FSU being 26 years old playing QB in college against 18-22 year old kids. It literally was a man playing against boys.

Speaking of Juhnny Football, he's going to be on the Vandy sidelines in Tuscaloosa this weekend. How sweet of him. Maybe he's trying to get a piece of Pavia's mama like Theo was.
