No - In fact, very few schools have won a "triple crown" overall.

Modern Era
Florida

Historical
LSU claims a men's basketball title from 1934
Michigan claims a baseball title from 1962

2/3
Texas 2005

Gets a little more interesting if you include Women's basketball

Blow high ho State has a 1960 NCAA tournament championship and a 1966 college world series championship.

There's no such thing as a big 3.

You might be the first person to ever say that.

In terms of basketball, to begin the season I imagine the following teams will be ranked in the Top 25 within this conference alone:

• Florida
• Alabama
• Kentucky
• Arkansas
• Tennessee
• Auburn

Not saying it can't happen, but that's a lot of work to do.

Before UF won basketball and football in the same season, think the shortest time span between a football & basketball title (or vice versa) was 9 years.

Then he said historically. But I realize the ones he cited 2/3 were referencing same year and not overall.

Murray State has a better chance at this than Ole Miss

Michigan won the College World Series in 1962. No college baseball poll argues against them being national champions.

The Premo-Porretta Power Poll and Helms Award for 1934-35 basketball both award the title to NYU. Yes, LSU claims it, but hell of a difference than UM's case.
