All this bickering about what players are doing what and yes I can get pissed on individual plays but we are getting out coached when we are on the offensive side of the ball. Same with special teams. We didn’t play horrible on special teams today but it still wasn’t a plus.

It’s a very simple read for the defense. Give a base look wait for the check from the offense and then change the defense to what you made them change the offensive call from. You then know what the offense is doing either pass or run each play.

It’s time for an overhaul on offense. Hire a OC/QB coach. Hire a running backs coach. Hire a new OL coach now. And hire a new TE coach.

And that’s only if we finish 7-5 or above anything less you gotta let Hugh go.

Granted in reality we should be 4-1 from the screw job at Oklahoma but we aren’t.

Funny to see you change your tune after one game when we've been getting out coached on offense the majority of the time he's been here.

Not that I disagree with anything you said, just funny that this was your breaking point.

I’ve been leaning that way all year. Been calling out Thornton and Ben A for well over a year.

Um, that has been going on for 3 years now

Its nothing new. You guys are just finally ready to admit it.

Hugh is a fake arse chode.

He took a top 25 talented team and lost at home to fricking New Mexico State. One of , if not the worst, loss in Auburn history. Then proceeded to lose to the instate rival on a 4th and 30 play to end the game.

He has been getting out coached since he stepped on the plains. But, he wrote some checks for some players and that blinded everyone.

I say again, No amount of players is going go make him a better coach.

I'm willing to admit that we have been out coached and that a change should be considered. But we have to ask if a change would be an improvement. We decided that it was time for a change with Gus and look what happened. How do we keep that from happening again? Our football program doesn't need another setback.

There really isnt any farther back to go. We are the worst team in the SEC right now. Who can we beat?

Bama/UGA/LSU/Ole Miss?

Arkensas - No
Miss State - No
Vandy - No
USC - No

The only possible SEC win for this team is Kentucky and we will get to see if that comes true

Every other SEC program is better than Auburn right now.

So what is the solution? If a new coach is the answer, who could we get? The coaches who could definitely fix the situation have secure positions with top salaries elsewhere.

I dont know and Im glad I am not the one who has to figure it out. It is a mess and Im sorry, it has been a mess since they hired Harsin. Hiring a coach is a crap shoot but hiring Freeze was just dumb. And we found that out very fast. His first season.

As for who we could get, I dont know and I doubt anyone worth a shite. Never have been able to get anyone to come to Auburn that is promising. But the reason we fired Gus and moved on was to beat our rivals more. Well, we are not. And Auburn has paid over 50 million in buy outs to do so. No need to stop now.

Now we cant beat our rivals or anyone else. And Auburn is basically the laughing stock of the SEC. The only way the Freeze hire could have been good is if he came out and beat the shite out of everyone. That didnt happen. So the people who thought it was a bad idea to hire him are just laughing at us now. And rightfully so.

He is a bad hire, a bad human and a terrible coach at this level

Unfortunately somebody has to figure it out. If Auburn decides to get rid of Hugh, they have to find a new head coach. The kind of coach who can definitely fix our problems won't take the job because he already has a better one. That means settling for a second tier coach who may or may not be able to do the job. The second tier coach may or may not be able to keep our best players from leaving and may or may not be able to recruit replacements who are equally good. It comes down to a question of whether or not we are willing to take a chance. Being seriously risk averse, I have very real concerns that we might seek another Dye and get another Harsin.

Kiffin gave the ball to RBs 9 more times last night than we have in two games combined. This beaver toothed clown thinks you can win without a running game. I thought he’d shown promise on that front after the Baylor game when he was saying how hard it was to just keep running the ball. Guess temptation took over just like it did when he was calling whores from his university phone.

this is the point where i remind those here who were happy we hired the guy who beat Bama twice that we actually hired the guy who lost his last three games to UConn, VPI and New Mexico State

absolutely none of this is surprising

Our problem is boosters. It's why we have Freeze and it's why we consistently have these circus side-show coaching searches in football that wind up this way. If we can't get them away from the process, we're just going to keep tripping over our own feet.

Auburn athletics is poorly run. I'm not sure how you fix that when the money dictates.

Arkansas is horrible on defense at least and they may have an Interim HC by then. 6-6 is possible.

You can’t read football talent.

There are still holes in the offensive line.

You can’t coach up bench sitters that are NIL rejects and claim you got better.

There needs to be two coaches. A QB coach and an offensive coordinator two different needs, not one.

The problem is the same clowns that hired Freeze and gave him a contract with a buyout ( ) are the same clowns that will hire the next guy. I don't expect it will be a homerun hire, because these guys have no idea what a homerun even looks like.

Why in the hell would you give a washed up, morally unappetizing, has-been coach a contract with a buyout, when we were the only morons that were kicking the tires in the better part of a decade. It's like bidding against yourself on Ebay. No one else wants it...

I think Cohen is over his head and I'm not sure he's going to lead us to anywhere but to more pain.

Which of our TDs in conference play is the best?

I liked the pass to Coleman against Oklahoma.
