vs. Alabama – 1-4

vs. Everybody Else – 65-3

...I do not know what to say about this.

Both teams had the best coaching/talent in the SEC, but Bama was better at both. The rest of the SEC was aware of this and was out to beat Bama, not Georgia, which is the reason for 58-2

Georgia b2b titles were the result of them sneaking up on/countering everyone scheming to beat Bama

Essentially paper rock scissors

I was feeling good about this game for the last week and a half, but now my inner pessimistic Dawg fan is creeping in.

Deboer and the OC shredded Lanning and Oregon when they were at Washington, and they ripped our defense a new one last year. What if Deboer and the OC have a read on the Kirby/Lanning defense?

I thought Ty Simpson was a statue just because he's a big dorky looking white guy, but Ty Simpson can scramble and hit the spin move in the pocket and he can also haul arse.

2020 Florida
2024 Notre Dame

2019 LSU?

Decade would start with 2020, no?

Vegas isn't usually wrong, but I just don't think that Alabama keeps the score within 10. Maybe if the game had been last week with Georgia coming off an OT game and Simpson being on fire I would say Alabama. Bye week can sometimes not be the best thing.

during that time frame bama either was in, or just coming off of, the greatest dynasty the hsitory of the sport has ever seen. There's not really much shame in losing to a juggernaut like that.

They've been the two most dominant and similar teams in the SEC for a while. In that 1-4 record is at least one or two comebacks by Alabama that could have easily gone UGA's way. It's a good rivalry.

They should’ve lost to Ohio State, Tennessee, Bama (natty game), and GA Tech this decade. Credit where it’s due, Kirby finds ways to win

And this will be the first time they've played in Athens while Kirby has been here.

Ah, so that explains it. Man, we got lucky.

No so much as lucky as a matter of circumstance. That explanation perfectly explains 58-2 and 1-4 aside from just bad luck

Technically

vs Alabama - 1-3

vs Everybody Else - 58-2

Decades end in year 0, they start with year 1.

That is an impressive record. Georgia and Ohio State have been on a similar path this decade, beating everyone but one rival who has given them a challenge. I'd put you guys at #1 with us at #2. We're 64-5 but 0-4 vs the Wolverines.

This is just god dam ditzy. If we are doing should've losts, Tennessee would have zero national championships in the last 70 years...

...and this VCR tape would've never been made.

Are you saying that teams that played Georgia were scheming to beat another team? Does that include Texas in 2 games last season?
