More than that, I just don't care much anymore. Losing is so second nature as a Hog football fan. Feel like we are in a loop of sadness and disappointment; No hope to be found with this program. Not sure why the U of A admin doesn't care to make changes.

At least in the other two sports, we act like we care some

I used to watch football all day Saturday and Sunday make weekends out of it. Grill out, etc. now I am apathetic to it. The last 15 years has ruined my love of football.

Can’t wait to see the same few teams win the national and SEC championships over the next 15 years. So fun.

Seeing Vanderbilt having success and Mizzou as well really grinds my gears

I miss living and dying on each play.

I’m almost 29 and the first football game I remember being really emotionally invested in was LSU 2007. I got hooked and started watching every play/following recruiting.

2012 and 2013 sucked but I could explain it to myself as an interim coach and Bert implementing a new offense/wanting a different type of player.

Since 2017 I’ve just been beaten down and barely care. I hardly watched last year after Oklahoma State and am at the same point after Memphis.

I still remember it like it was yesterday, "we're gonna out Bama, Bama."

Or a secondary team to cheer for. Preferably one that's still sort of an underdog but playing solid football, that you have some sort of connection to.

I've enjoyed watching Vandy games this season, I like the way they play hard, physical, and with some emotion. My brother and cousin both went to Vandy so it's an easy choice

It’s kind of interesting that vandy has never had a better recruiting class, or portal class than Arkansas in its recent history yet I believe they would stomp a mud hole in us if we played tomorrow. This is the issue everyone who wants to talk about NIL and recruiting never want to discuss. Why are teams that have never recruited better than us, better than us?

The NFL is a great product right now IMO. Probably the first time in my life it's just overall a better product than CFB.

Some coaches find a way to motivate players and demand physicality and discipline

Arkansas' staff doesn't appear to do any of this.

Not demanding discipline is probably the worst one. Last week we downed a punt at the 1, called back for illegal formation. The illegal substitution coming out of a fricking timeout.

I could go on with other examples but no shite we can’t win close games. We’re flubbing the things that are completely in our control.

NIL doesn’t affect whether we can line up correctly or get substitutions in on time. We don’t need a defense full of five stars to communicate effectively and not have constant busts in coverage.

I hate how we never seem to have an edge to the way we play. When the other team turns it on in the second half we back down and don’t punch back. You can tell the players are expecting something bad to happen.

Agreed on NFL being better product. I'm a Cowboys fan, I can't escape the pain

I'll be in Heber the week of the Auburn game. Pretty sure the trout will bite better than the Hogs will play

I prefer the White river for rainbows, browns, golds (if lucky) and then head to the lake for Walleye, etc.

I do as well especially when staying in Cotter at Cranor's White River Lodge.

I weighed my options, a free guided trout fishing trip on the Litlle Red or watching Freezus beat us down in Faytown.

Walleye

I’m ignorant in this, what’s the difference between walleye, pike, bass, catfish, etc? I went walleye fishing in Minnesota and they threw back any thing that wasn’t walleye and called it trash fish.

Then when they cooked it, it looked and tasted the same as the crappies, catfish and bass my grandma had always cooked.

Crappie>catfish>bass. I don't see the walleye snobbery either.
