The broadcasters on the SEC games Saturday were ranting and raving over moo state about to be 4-0. So they pulled a win against Arizona State and had three layup games. WTF is there to brag about?

They went 2-10 last year and haven’t started 4-0 in over a decade… Relatively speaking it’s a big deal for the time being.

The combined record of LSU’s opponents is 7-9. The combined record of State’s opponents is 6-8. LSU’s best win is against a 1-3 Clemson team. State’s best win is against a 3-1 Arizona State team.

They’re objectively much better than they were last year and from a personal standpoint they are better than I expected them to be.

I have no idea what that translates to in terms of SEC record. Still feels like 6-6 would be a great accomplishment for this roster. They’ll probably be an underdog in all 8 SEC games.

6-6 would be a bit of a disappointment with our 5-0 start, but the SEC is a tough league.

If I had known this was the line, I would have put several K’s on it.

Considering last year we got blown out by a 6-6 MAC team, this 4-0 start is nice to have.

So replace Arizona St with say ULM... and are they still viewing 4-0 as a big deal?

Well considering we went 2-10 last season there’s lots of improvement to brag about. We are a much better team at every position.
