Ha, after 30 yrs yeah i think most would, he was really clueless those first few years, Craig James was by far better,

Herbstreit is so bad I have to turn the sound off when he commentates. He pushes the ESPN talking points and does it in a smarmy smart a$$ way that is so condescending.
He is also such a “look at me I am sensitive!” little whiner; he brings his dog to the games (no one else gets to bring their dog)! He will cry for highly publicized woke issues!

When Herbstreit and Chris Fowler are doing a game, it feels like a big game, even though most games on ESPN all feel the same and there's usually no difference in feel between the MAC Tuesday Night Game of the Week and a big game. I will give Herbstreit that an only that.
The ESPN goober who knows the most about college football is Stanford Steve. That sonofabitch rattled off the name of our third string right guard and backup cornerback when I was watching earlier as if it was his own team!

ESPN’s quality of football announcer has fallen so far that I actually find Herbstreit tolerable. I find myself muting the TV if I’m watching Tennessee though more often than not.
