We are on the positive side of turnovers on the season for the first time since the 2022 season.

True, which is always good. But let's not act like we've been playing tough competition. Let's see how that holds up over the next three games. If it does, I will definitely be impressed.

I noticed that too and hope it continues.

Thorne has scarred us a bit. I keep expecting a lame duck into double coverage every drop back.

Jackson hasn't hit all of his spots, sure, but when he does miss it’s generally a throw where either our receiver makes the play or no one can.

Baylor isnt a playoff team or anything, but that win is as good as anyone else in the SEC vs an OOC P4 team except for OU (mich), Aggy on the road against ND, and maybe LSU over Clemson, but I think Clemson was highly overrated. Auburn went up on Baylor 21-3 about 5 mins into the 2nd qtr and Baylor never had the ball where the score was within a TD the rest of the game. Yes, they threw for a bunch of yards. But they're gonna do that against a bunch of teams. Their QB is a 5th year QB who was coached by Mike Leach for two seasons. His current QB coach is Jake Spavital who has an impressive list of QBs he has coached as well.

This isnt me saying we are gonna beat OU (I do think we lose for the record), and the team may fall flat on its face and lose every game going forward. But I do think a lot of fans are still shell shocked over what has gone down over the past few seasons and arent seeing the good this year's team is doing.

It isnt perfect and they can get much better in certain areas. But it isnt anywhere near as bad as the past 4 or 5 seasons in just about every area. And to the point of the thread...turnovers is one of the areas where this team has drastically improved as far as giving it to the other team.

Baylor was a big win. We ran wild. Next two have felt like practice games that we didn’t overly dominate. OU is a lot like AU. Has Mateer faced an SE defense? We bringing one.

I think it’s every bit as good as the Okie win over Michigan. Baylor is very good offensively and has a chance to win the Big12. Michigan is very pedestrian on offense and will probably win 7 games or so. Same with the LSU-Clemson win. Clemson seems to have issues.

I think if we keep that turnover margin, we are in every game. It has been the thing I have been most impressed with, compared to last year.

That being said, while we are looking better, several teams on our schedule look much improved as well.

Texas A&M, going to ND and winning is impressive. Vandy continues to win. Arky has an offense. Georgia is still Georgia.

To win the ones we should win, we are going to have to avoid reverting to our turnover prone mishaps from last year.

Turnovers is really the major difference from last year. QB running is better and return game is a bit better, but most everything else feels about the same.
