Good analogy. Doesn't mean as much as it would have with the playoff stuff but still awesome.
Matched UTk longest winning streak.
Felt like it should have been a loss, like Tech
Not in top 15 though
1- OSU midnight miracle
2- Bama natty
3- Rose Bowl vs Oklahoma
4- 2002 AU game
5- Hobnail Boot
6- Texas SECCG
The other good regular season games you can mix in there.
Maybe it is top 15

It was a great game, but it has to be behind the '22 championship game and the playoff nailbitters just because of what was on the line, and that's just UGA football.
1980 GA/FL has to be ahead of it, too, as does the Hobnail Boot game.

IMHO it resembled the OSU game a great deal. Always playing catch-up and appearing out matched at times: especially early only to fight and claw back and eek out a win after a missed FG. The stakes were no where near as high, but if I had to pick a game more similar I couldn't.

I would say top 15 maybe top ten. Probably right ahead of UGA LSU 2013. That game had similar back and forth action

It was a great game. The Rose bowl against Oky is the best game I can remember. The 1996 four-OTs vs Auburn was a classic and the 27 OTs vs Tech last year definitely made me double up on my blood pressure meds.
Games that didn't go into OT but were still nail-biters and legendary would be...

It wasn't a nailbiter but 2007 Florida is the most fun I've had at a game
