The season has just started too early to make picks Hell it could be Vandy for all we know.

It’s just two games in. Conference play hasn’t started. Oklahoma is improved but nowhere near perfect. Still some kinks in the offense and special teams looks like crap. If OU can enter the RRS 5-0, I’ll be a bit more comfortable.

I would certainly not laugh off OU and the improvement shown. I lived through the ‘00 season and still have PTSD on how good Oklahoma can become seemingly overnight.

Mateer seems legit to me. Kid at first glance is a winner... That said, lot of football left

They need to establish a run game with the RBs to take some pressure off Mateer, but they just beat what has been a pretty good defensive team in the past few years without one. So on one hand they do need the RBs more involved, on the other they've proven they can win without that.

You can give OU's program some respect, it has earned it. But OU in the SEC still needs to earn it's respect, this week was a good start, but there is a LONG way to go.

If our coach could develop quarterbacks or call plays in the red zone I'd feel a lot better about the RRR this season.

We appreciate the flowers but reign it in a little. We still have a lot to prove.
Defense looked good. Mateer and the receivers looked good.
Running game and special teams need work.
Plus every one of our SEC opponents is ranked in the top 25 this week.

Just like LSU and Clemson, how do we know how good Michigan is?
They are at Nebraska and at USC in the next 2 weeks so I expect them to have 3 losses by Oct. they look like a 7-5 team to me.

While I love the sentiment - it's early. I hope the team continues to improve and play well, but September is not when champions are crowned. We have a lot of football left to play, and some really good teams on the schedule. Talk to me in December!
