Maybe. They were pretty bad last year. Didn’t they lose to every SEC opponent by double digits? Hopefully they are improved this year.

not likely...they beat them by 1 score last year with one of the top RB in college football.

To think ASU is anything more than a blip or a fluke is crazy.

If you think this makes ASU special then you’re going to be disappointed. In our last 13 games against P5 opponents, State has played precisely one of them within single digits (ASU last year, ironically).

Very unsure what to expect from this one in general, but the weird comments by Dillingham and the cowbell stuff has State people more more fired up about this one than they would have been otherwise.

Even I am rooting for State in this one. Considering ASU's lackluster performance against their week 1 FCS opponent, I don't see ASU winning.

You better hope so if the team with the 16th best odds to win the conference in the SEC beats your defending champ? Woo boy.

I was watching ASU interviews and predictions, and it felt to me like that first game might be a let down for them. They were high on everything including the smell of their own farts. They made a ton of mistakes and looked OK at best against an FCS team.

Dillingham is a really good coach, and I am sure he has worked overtime to get the team grounded again. I expect they will play a much better game this week.

As an MSU fan, I want to see us take a step up the ladder and play a competitive game until the final play. If we can do that, we have a chance to win based on the home field night game advantage that we usually get... And the GRIND that they won't see coming.

State is much improved, especially on the defensive side of the ball. Skattebo was 72% of your offense last year. He's in New York and can't help you.

Vegas has this at 6.5 for a reason. A defending P4 conference champion with 17 returning starters against the worst team in the SEC and its only 6.5 points?

Somebody knows something.
