Music at practice, stuffed support animals, ice cream truck at practice, players playing video games at Bryant Denny, NIL deals, etc. amazing how much things have changed in a year and a half. And we wonder why we’re getting our asses kicked in by subpar opponents who play physical football.

Well it’s not like he’s responsible for NIL …

Does he really have all that going on? I know about the music at practice but is the other stuff true?

If it is… we are right back in the Shula era.

Yes. Ryan Williams was carrying a stuffed teddy bear into the stadium yesterday. We’re fricked.

I meant responsible for its existence … it’s here and it’s not going away and if we don’t play in that pool things will be exponentially worse.

Are we qualifying lake days with Saban as bad culture now?

Guys, we’ve had a PlayStation setup in the football facility for over a decade. Tony Brown got suspended for skipping class to play Madden

If there are “culture” items I’m upset about, it’s not these things that gave us 0 retention issues this offseason. It would be the gameday stuff where we’re very loose on pre-game meetings/position walk through

An ice cream truck isn’t why our defense can’t defend a run option gameplan

Right. It’s Kane Womack’s fatass in his oversized jogging suit who is completely in over his head. And it’s Freddie Roach who can’t recruit or coach defensive linemen. Let me know if I left anyone out.

It’s still embarrassing. Do you think that a Georgia player would carry something like that into Sanford Stadium with Kirby staring them down ? Of course not.

No we are in the new era of CFB. Where the players are entitled and the reason Saban retired.

The t-rex looked kind of badass. It had a nose strip, spats, and some sort of Nike wristband around its neck.

Right, music at practice doesn't negatively affect your ability to win football games. A lack of mental toughness and preparedness does. How many times did a Saban team just get it's arse kicked physically? Maybe like 3 times in 17 seasons? DeBoer has already greatly eclipsed that in 14 fricking games. That has frick all to do with music and ice cream. Those are surface things. Every program does stuff like that. The rot that leads to looking like the heap of dog shite we've been since the start of last year goes much deeper.

If you watched an earlier Saban coached team get off the bus, you were immediately impressed by how tight the team looked. Everyone was dressed sharp, alike and neat. They looked like a team on a business trip.

I though we looked sloppy and disorganized yesterday. There was no uniformity. Everyone looked like an individual and some didnt even wear a tie or jacket. I swear there were a couple that didnt even have their shirts tucked in.

It's the little things that add up for success. DeBoer and staff dont seem to see the importance of them.

I am generally very gracious with coaches and players, so it is very, very uncommon for me to say that one is a failure, especially so early in a tenure. However, teams take on the demeanour and personality of their coach. Deboer has no fire, no toughness no sense of being hungry. He is too busy coddling and being a player's coach. I don't think his players have any male attitude of aggression and desire to dominate. One player is busy painting his nails.

Unfortunately, I don't think DeBoer has it in him to train up guys who have a little aggression and flat out hunger. That is unfortunate, because he certainly had the background to suggest he's the next Nick Saban.

FWW. Sark is the same way. Want to be a player's coach? Turn off the music and show them that you understand and share the desire to dominate.

Guessing, but given that T Rex is generally associated with short arming things and we saw RW struggling, wouldn’t shock me if that was something he was carrying until he fixed the issues
