Teams within tiers are ranked alphabetically, rankings are definitive for football moving forward(not just 2025)
Bama, Georgia, Texas
LSU, Oklahoma, Ole Miss, Tenner
Florida, South Carolina, Texas A&M
Arkansas, Auburn, Mizzou
Kentucky, State, Vandy

You funny. 1 good year for UTrans does not make them tier 1. You already forget your 2 decades wandering in the wilderness?

Nothing exists in a vacuum. All things are fluid.

You’re on thin ice Oklahoma, on the brink of being in the list with Aggie

TX isn't sending their best to the Rant.

You're gonna switch State and Ole Miss. After all Ole Miss has never won the division or played in the SEC title game. Can't just say someone is upper teir when they literally have no resume for it. Wow the have a few 10 win seasons but haven't actually done shite.

Texas, no. One title in 55 years does not make tier 1. I don't care how much money you have.

Not sure the OP cares about that since he has a team who has never won a single SEC championship in tier 1

We have something called the Big Six here and you don't come here and put yourself above any of those. LSU, Georgia and Florida have won 2 national titles since your last one.

There should probably be a rule about not speaking to posters of teams in higher tiers unless spoken to first. Reading some of these replies is nauseating

I don't think you can put Alabama in Tier 1 until after seeing this year. Not unless you just go by roster talent alone. Last year was a first year coaching change, a lot of experienced players leaving the program, a coaching staff dealing with a lot more on their plate than just football on the field.
My expectation is for Bama to continue to be in the top tier of the SEC but we don't know until after this season. The staff has now had a year under their belt, a full offseason and entering year two of new offensive and defensive philosophies. Things should be a lot better, but until it is shown on the field that it is, we're still the 9-4 team that lost to Vandy, a bad OU team and the third string of Michigan in the bowl game.

Missouri has done more in the SEC than Texas.

For 2025, I think you mean this ^

How can you put yourself above Auburn’s fictional 9 NC’s? Perception is reality my man.

The Longhorns strut. They boast. Then they fold. Orange pride, paper heart. All hat. No cattle.

I'm confused. Are we talking about the #1 ranked team in the country?
I thought so.
Tier 1 bitches.
