Check in if you think Arch Manning is a Dud or a Stud. For the record preseason statement.

I've been waiting until closer to season start. I think this week is as good a time as any to tally the book for Arch opinions before the season starts.

Reply with "Stud" or "Dud" and I'll total up on Monday morning 25th of August. This is with respect to the 2025 season only.

I'll start......Stud.

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

24 Aug. Updating the count so far,

I purposely wanted only Stud or Dud because most would answer "Somewhere in the middle". Somewhere in the middle isn't very titillating. I should have know better, oh well. See below.

Stud = 24
Dud = 6
Middling = 28
let's talk about Dildos or homo eroticisms = 3

I know it doesn't rhyme with stud or dud, but I'm gonna have to vote "dildo."

I predict the Texas longhorns come up short this season like they do every season.

Surrounded by talent.
Developed with all the modern tech.

I’d guess stud.

He will break our hearts if he’s good, your hearts if he’s bad. I’m just here for the misery.

I'd have understood if this was posted by aggy. Coming from Mizzo fan it now makes you a bit suspect too.

Why is everyone predicting he will either be a Heisman or will suck

What if, and I know it’s a long shot, he’s just a good quality P4 QB? They don’t need him to be a Heisman.

Stud. Not as good as the media hype but a lot better than most people here think.

Aggie culture and Low T dildo culture are interchangeable.

I think he’ll be a little bit better version of Danny Etling

agree with you DT55. If he can complete a few passes, use his legs to get a few 1st downs, hand off to the stud RB room, protect the football and manage the game....That makes him a stud in my book.

In the limited play time he’s had he’s looked very good. I expect he will have a big year.

I’ve said this since he was a senior at Newman.

It’s not a question of whether he’s good or not. He is unquestionably good.

The issue is that unless he is a Heisman finalist, National champion and top 5 draft pick, many will consider him a bust. Even your own fan base

You nailed it. I’ve followed Arch since he was a JR at Newman. Arch is a very talented QB and will be very good at Texas. The problem is everyone expects almost perfection from him and being really really good won’t be good enough for a lot of people.

I think he’ll be really good, but not perfect first season as starter. Something along the lines of 3300 yds, 30 touchdowns, a few rushing touchdowns. He’s not winning the heisman but he’ll have a lot of hype running into next season for sure.

I hope he fails because I'm an Alabama fan, not an SEC fan, but I expect he will be good, and perhaps very good. It's impossible to yet know but he may be the best qb in the conference.

Somewhere in the middle. Based on experience gained this season could be the tell for next year.
He looked really good at times in limited action last year. Georgia humiliated him.
After Ohio State, the schedule is manageable and he has a wealth of talent around him.
If I was Sarkisian, I would tell him to use his playmakers and not try to be a star.
