Taking a dump on AU per the John Clenney interview? LINK

Who is John Clenney? That article doesn't really say anything new for those who haven't clicked. It's 80% random twitter responses to Johnson saying "eh"

WTF is this article? Good lord Outkick your coverage has gone downhill.
A random person on twitter asking him a question when he was doing an AMA round is an interview now?
I think his unwillingness to actually get into why he felt that way when asked, after that response was more garbage than the actual response. Sucks whatever reason caused him to feel that way but it doesn't impact me any.
I'm sure people who really loved him as a player reacted, as jolted fans might

Meh, I'll always admire KJ for what he did on the field. He always gave it his all and that's all we can really ask for as fans.
However, since leaving Auburn, he has always seemed to be a very unhappy guy. I'm sure being beaten down in college physically only to end up in Detroit while they were still "bag-over-head" Detroit wasn't exactly what path he had envisioned. Every time I hear or read quotes from him, he always strikes me as a guy who is bitter and thinks he doesn't get the recognition he thinks he deserves.

It all started in 2020. Him and Marquez Harrell both had some bolder words and wont even rehash them.
I am guesing NIL also makes him bitter.
Still, frick him.

Kerryon also wanted a job and we didn’t have one available at the time. Before he took the UNA job.

Ya NIL would make me bitter for the whole college experience too if I was a good late 2010s football player.
I just don’t care… no hard feelings either way

A true believer and follower of The Creed would not answer “eh”.
It just makes me a little sad.

It surely didn't help that he got involved with the MTV chick and seemed to care more about social media cred and likes than football.

You're currently in the running for worst Alabama poster on the main board. Now that's embarrassing. Good luck against Cajunbama nonetheless!
