The tell tell sign Manning will be rushing for tons of yards week1 …. They lost their big te also plus 4 starters . People are under estimating this to start the season . Texas could be eliminated from playoffs after the OU game . I know Flood is a good OL coach but they just didn’t lose 4 starters they only have one returner with any experience. I am sure they have some good transfers but not going to replace them that fast.

We lost 8 starters on offense and 6 on defense.

The OL was way overrated last year. Exhibit A: 4th and goal from the 1 versus Ohio State…. But the running game was sporadic as was pass protection. I think it was Sark’s scheme more than talent, but hopefully he learned something.

Next up!

Keep dreaming, every person who will be starting on the OL this year (except for one) has played a ton of snaps. It would be almost impossible to replicate how atrocious your OL was.

Uh huh. You’re starting a true freshman. We’ve got some new faces but these are highly rated guys who have been waiting their turn. Your program is years behind ours in OL development.

"They lost their big te also"
"but they just didn’t lose 4 starters they only have one returner with any experience"

Do you even do your homework before posting?

We picked up a guy at TE that will probably end up being drafted higher than Helm.

As for the OLine:
We return T. Goosby, who did a great job filling in for for both starting tackles when they were hurt... and will be a high draft pick this year. Ask the aggies how he did against their D lineman.
We also return Cole Hutson, a senior guard who has 13 starts in his career. To go along with our returning starting guard - 5 star OL DJ Campbell
We have Brandon Baker at the other tackle who is in his 2nd year and a former 5 star recruit. We will see if he lives up to that rating.
The other spot is a question mark right now but it will probably be Umeozulu. There are 3-4 seasoned guys that have been in the system for a few years battling it out. I think they will be solid and one of the best units in the SEC when it's all said and done.

Their QB is the highest paid player in the history of college sports

They have to win a title this year

Or go 6–6

Arch will struggle some. If they lose a couple games the fans will want him benched.

You have no idea what you’re talking about:

LT - Goosby filled in admirably for Banks against Georgia with no drop off.
LG - Neto will be an upgrade as a run blocker
C - Senior Hutson originally a freshman guard starter, should be an upgrade as a run blocker
RG - Senior Campbell returns
RT - Baker is a 5 star taking over for Williams who was penalty prone.

Plus, we upgraded our kicker who left lots of points on board.
Plus, a QB with less batted balls down.

13 wins and two bowl victories? I’ll take it

And yet Texas still had a more successful season than any aggie season you ever have and ever will live to see

Really makes you think, huh…

We’ll have to wait until at least midway through conference play to really know…

Ohio State is overrated, man. They are replacing almost everyone from last years team. Similar to how Michigan was overrated last year.

OU will be improved, I’ll give you that.

Much better run blocking on the interior line and just need Brandon Baker to pan out at RT. He's crucial. Not worried about the other spots.

It is kind of funny...

Somebody who doesn't like your team looks and sees all these new starters and doesn't take into account that teams usually play more than just the starters.

Guys like yourself point this rightly point this but then make claims about how the new guys are going to be "better" than the multi year starters they replaced.

DJ Campbell will be fine. Someone’s forgetting Trevor Goosby (preseasom all sec) and Baker (5 star who’s got to sit and learn for 2 years).
