The only ones we've worn that are different at all in the last 25 years are:

2006 vs Ole Miss





2010 vs Mississippi State





Going back before that the only real alternate was the infamous (or famous, depending on point of view) white helmets of various points during the 1970s and 1980s.

Most will say the Black jerseys for Georgia but I think these were sick and should be a semi-regular road uni:

I like the most recent black/dark mode ones. I’ve never been happy with the Smokey Gray, though I like the idea behind military tribute they are doing this year.

The one-off Condredge Holloway tribute ones we did almost two decades ago were very sharp and the only good alternate Adidas did for us during that run.

Then Nike tried to do it with the gray ones and it was ugly as hell.

I always loved these for SC and wished we wore them more often.

I'll say LSU's best alt uni in my opinion is from the Arky game in 2009. That's the gold that the helmets SHOULD be. I'll admit that I would have preferred the typical LSU shoulder stripes on the jerseys though.

Those LSU unis look sharp. I like them.

Bama's was subtle but very nice with the little changes.

Georgia's black was great. But the ones they wore when they played Boise were awful.

I'm a Mizzou fan - I can't keep track of what is an alternate and what is not... I will say anything we use that is solid Yellow is not good. Solid yellow pants - bad. Solid yellow jersey - bad. Solid yellow helmet - bad, but not as bad as the jersey and pants. Don't get me wrong, I really like the shade of gold we use... as an accent it really pops. So, use it as a highlight, stripe, lettering, etc. But when there's too much, it just turns yellow.
