Will Brian Kelly continue the annual tradition of dropping the week 1 game?

When will Ole Miss ever schedule an opponent other than a glorified high school for an opening game?

It’s tradition now.

It doesn't help we're on the road at night at a top 5 ranked program. If this game were played in Baton Rouge, I would feel comfortable that it'd be a W. On the road, I do not.

However, I do think this 2025 LSU team will be the most talented team since 2019. We were uncharacteristically awful on Defense last 2 years. We did a complete overhaul on our shite players and have 4 or 5 good starters like Whit Weeks, Perkins, McKinley all coming back.

I think 10-2 is very realistic. And I count week 1 as a loss. If we beat Clemson, then I think 11-1. I think we play Bama in a rematch after losing 1st time to them. Georgia will go 7-1 like LSU, but we'll beat them in the tiebreaker. Texas, despite playing only bottom half of SEC again sin UGA, will go 9-3 (can't see them winning at OSU, at UGA, and at UF with a healthy Lagway instead of a no 247 or ESPN profile walk on QB like last year).

Oh, you are referring to Alabama's second home field?

Perhaps Olè Miss should open against LSU: guaranteed win.

I have no love loss for Clem's-sons, but the problem is they return some NFL talent on D and LSU loses most of that magnificent OL that helped Nuss put up all those big numbers last season. This looks like its going to be a tough game for the kittens.

I have no confidence in BK at all. Didn't want him when he was hired. He'll have to prove me wrong as of right now. He looked lost on the sidelines in the 3 losses. When opponents make adjustments, he kneels on the sideline with a blank face not knowing what to do.

It was a great start of a tradition to knock Ole Miss out of the playoffs.

10-2 with a loss and 11-1 with a win? Don't see it myself. I see we play LSU at night. Not sure that is the big hurdle it was years ago though.

This will be a talented and very physical Clemson team. LSU could very easily get pounded into Howard's Rock. Afterwards, Dabo will have Clemson Nation believing they just won the natty. That boy does pizzas and mythologizing like no other.

No, the bigger question is will Ole Miss be able to win something of substance for the first time since before the Beatles came to America. But to answer your question, no we are not beating Clemson.
