Finebaum, like many legacy media personalities, seems to be willing to say anything, the more outrageous the better, to try to save his livelihood.

Best since Tebow and he's sat on the bench for how many years? Even as a freshman Tebow was much more of a 1b than a 2. And Chris Leak the starter was legit. I get Fbum isn't calling him Tebow but even putting him on that level is ridiculous at this point

At this point Manning could set every single season record, win everything there is to win, surprise everyone and not declare for the draft, come back and repeat with an even better season… And he won’t have lived up to the hype.
