Is it possible that OU and Missouri leave the conference?

And would anyone notice? I’d say Texas too, but they seem to do it in groups of 2.
OU is still new, so maybe they’ll become a more natural fit over time, but Missouri is a lost cause. They will never belong.
Sometimes I have to double check on Wikipedia to see if Missouri is even in the conference or if this was just a weird dream.
Discuss.

If you ask any team to leave, OU ain’t the one you send packing.
They are a blue blood program and have actual results and a championship.

OU? No shot. Maybe Mizzou…
I actually think A&M has the biggest chance if the Big 10 approaches them. They’d leave in a heartbeat to get away from Texas and have a better chance at a first championship since the 1930s

Yeah. No one really wanted them. They just rode A&M’s coattails in, because there needed to be two, for balance. They never really bothered anyone, because, for the most part, they kept quiet, and hoped no one noticed how bad they sucked arse. But lately, they’ve gotten some easy arse schedules and won a few games, and now the most mentally disturbed of their fan base have crawled out of the sewer to shite all over the forum. It didn’t help that Kelly banged someone near and dear to the main alter puppet master. Now those two tards and the six alters can’t stop spewing all this verbal diarrhea. They can’t help it. It’s either lick windows or type drivel about their arch nemesis.

If we lost A&M and Mizzou, then Texas/OU would be arguing for more neighbors.
We don't have that "exclusionary" approach that most SEC schools have. Neighbors are good for rivalries and travel.

Vandy is a founding member.
Plus, they're private and we need at least one private school to protect the conference from FOI

I get so tired of this garbage. Nobody is leaving. Period. Mizzou wanted to join us. They have big TV markets and contribute financially.

We aren’t going anywhere.

You don’t think A&M would jump at being the only Texas school in the Big 10?

Why would they leave the security of the SEC? The only way they don't fit is in your head. There is no bylaw that allows for kicking out a member other than failure to field a football team or severely breaking the conference bylaws themselves.

Until they do.
You're the guy that got tired of expansion garbage I'm sure. Then Texas/OU showed up.
Unless A&M and Texas learn how to work together (which would benefit both) - you can bet your sweet fanny A&M is going to the B1G.
A&M left the Big 12 over a TV channel. You don't understand the hate (jealousy).
Seriously - think back. What was the ONLY stipulation that Texas A&M requested of the SEC back when they joined? The ONLY.
That goes way beyond rivalry.

Yes, but they can't do it overnight. They have to massage it in, work it, rub it, generate buy-in from the olds. Then once it feels right, they gone.

The SEC should pay Missouri to leave, They don't add anything and don't fit culturally. Clemson and/or Florida State are much better fits.

I knew this thread was going to devolve into Texas A&M bashing before opening it.

Prize eggs: Clemson, Florida State, North Carolina
Anything else is just a decent add for regionality and fans.

Explain SEC culture. Surely MIZ isn’t in the “bottom” two here, and maybe not the “bottom” three or four. We’re very happy not identifying with the Deep South though.

Your program is drenched in jealousy over your big bro. It's in everything you do, and absolutely everybody can see that.
