Bama gifted three of those: 2011 rematch, 2017 got in w/o winning conference, and 2020 didn’t play a single full strength team or any sold out road games.

Name one LSU baseball team that were ever gifted shots at the championship by the media.

You haven’t even won your conference since 2017. And if we are talking about non-revenue sports, UConn women’s basketball has 12 national titles since 1995. WTF are you talking about?

Also just for fun in case anyone actually wants to compare college baseball to football:

(Since 1990)

LSU baseball: 8 national titles, 11 SEC titles
Alabama football: 7 national titles, 11 SEC titles

How exactly would “the media” gift any baseball team a championship? They don’t even cover the sport.

One of these is clearly better than the other. Thanks for proving OP’s point.

Yes, a negative revenue sport. Where does the idea that LSU baseball makes money come from? They have operated at a loss as far back as I looked.

2024: -$1.96 million
2023: -$2.2 million
2022: -$1.8 million
2021: -$321,946
2020: -$2.7 million
2019: -$1.5 million

All of this is easy to find on the internet. Just google ‘LSU baseball revenue’ and the year.

When is the last time LSU baseball was profitable?
