Congrats LSU. Now I’m sad

First off, congrats to the LSU Tigers on #8. That’s just incredible. But it makes me sad that, as of a few minutes ago, we now enter that bleakest part of the year where college baseball is over but college football hasn’t yet started. It will be a full two months before we get college football. Sure, MLB and college football practice reports will help. But it’s not the same.

I use to play video games. May get ba l into them when I retire in a few years. But, as everyone who knows me already knows, my hobby is building models. And one thing I love to do, as I’ve done today. Is stream SEC football, basketball, or baseball on Hulu Live or ESPN+ on my phone while I’m at my model desk. Love it. Guess I’ll make do with podcasts or my Spotify playlist for the next two months.

There's no sanctioned CFB practice until Fall Camp, which is technically in the summer but only two weeks. And you won't hear shite out of any of them unless it's a Georgia Running Back blowing out his knee or a speeding ticket.

It is a sad time indeed. I console myself by remembering that it’s two months that I don’t have to worry about any of our teams letting me down in heartbreaking fashion.
