No idea who's starting, but I bet they'll have a real quick hook if they start getting in trouble.

I’m assuming it won’t be Root, Gage, or Gaeckle? Hopefully?

No less than 5 pitchers. Cheese, Carter, gibler, fauch, coil. Doubt anyone goes through the line up more than once.

What is your confidence level in each of those arms?

Confidence level? I just hope we win the game. Not confident in any part of this team.

LSU is just good.

Yup, those 3 are definitely out.

We don't have much left for you guys, but hoping to make it competitive.

We have a deep pitching staff and have really only used 4 if you don't count Mac in the 9th

They are all good none are great.

Cheese was our Sunday “starter” most of the year, but rarely goes deep in games. He was the ace for Ohio state last year. I know that’s not saying much. He’s like Root just not quite as good.

Carter- Defition of a good middle reliever. Throws strikes, gets outs, good for a couple of innings.

Gibler- Freshman. Ton of potential. Not much experience. A bit of wild card. Potential to be a hero.

Fouch- Power pitcher. They’ve wanted him to be our closer for a couple of years now but occasional control issues.

Coil- Matchup pitcher. Excellent against lefties. Won’t be allowed to face a competent righty with runners on base.

What?

We literally couldn’t be in a better position for having to play an extra game.

Here is a preview based on a review:
pitchers
L. Beidelschies
D. Carter
C. Foutch
C. Gibler
A. Jimenez
P. Coil
team
IP H R ER BB K HR PC-ST
2.0 4 3 3 0 4 2 42-30
2.0 2 0 0 1 2 0 44-25
1.2 1 0 0 0 3 0 27-15
1.1 0 0 0 1 3 0 28-16
1.1 3 1 1 1 2 0 30-19
0.2 0 0 0 0 1 0 6-6
9.0 10 4 4 3 15 2 177-111

That's our game 3 from earlier in the year we won, all are still available except Jimenez who pitched last night; Gibler threw 21 and Foutch 8 in game 1 against you

LSU pitching from that game:
pitchers
C. Evans
C. Shores
C. Williams
J. Mayers
C. Ware
W. Schmidt
M. Rizy
G. Fontenot
team
IP H R ER BB K HR PC-ST
3.2 7 4 4 3 4 0 87-52
3.1 2 1 1 1 4 0 60-40
0.2 0 0 0 1 1 0 22-12
0.1 0 0 0 0 1 0 4-3
0.0 0 1 1 1 0 0 10-6
0.0 0 1 1 2 0 0 11-3
0.1 1 0 0 1 0 0 13-9
0.2 0 0 0 0 0 0 3-2
9.0 10 7 7 9 10 0 210-127

Evans threw 68 yesterday morning and 11 in game 1 against us, Williams threw 21 and Shores threw 11 in your UCLA game, Shores also threw 10 in the game against us.

Those low pitch counts wont really matter so both teams still have capable arms for sure.

Looks like his last start was in the Sunday game in Baton Rouge, May 11.

Had trouble with Dickinson and Hernandez. Dickinson has been playing with an injured hand and is really struggling at the plate.

I think LSU will use Noot and Cowan as its first two pitchers today, then it depends on the score.

If LSU is even or has a lead, you'll see Shores and Eyanson at the back end, though probably not until the 7th inning.
