Congrats to Hawgs and LSU

The cream rises to the top. Arkansas looked the part all year and LSU finished strong.
I had a great trip to the Box and Louisiana. Stops to see Mike, Death Valley, Chimes, Elsie’s, Coffee Call, and bought the best boudin I’ve ever had at Best Stop on the way back (ate some when I got back w more in the freezer).
The Box is a great stadium and majority of LSU fans were super cool. One jackass on the concourse wouldn’t shut up; I think even the LSU fans were sick of him.
But WVU was overmatched and didn’t look like they belonged.
Anyway thanks again for all the great recommendations in BR. Good luck to LSU and Hawgs.

I just started coming to the rant almost everyday. I use to use Blescher Report. I keep hearing this Stephen’s guys name. Who is he?

There is a best stop in Katy now. It is worth the drive from wherever you are in Houston. Glad you had a good time in BR.

Great experiences go a long way win you win. That can’t be said if he went to a football game. It’s normally a sad day in BR on Saturdays, as the sun sets in the western sky

I can't wait to get back for a football game. Looking out to center field it was really cool to see the stadium in the background. I'm sure the place is nuts for a football game.

Abita beer, spinach artichoke dip, and boudin balls at Chimes; chocolate pie at Elsie's. Beignets, a sausage biscuit, and coffee at Coffee Call.

I didn't know there's one in Katy. I did see a sign near Beaumont that one will be opening up around there soon.
Was also cool to see they put their Catholic faith out front for all to see (I'm Catholic so it hit home).

I saw a billboard sign for them when I was driving back yesterday. Thought it was Beaumont but maybe it was Baytown; will definitely Google.
I got a box of their "original" boudin and it has the perfect spice for my taste. They had a hot one which maybe I'll try next time.

I've always had good experiences in Louisiana, I travel there frequently for business (LSU is my largest client) and to see one of our children near Covington. Wonderful people and food all across the state.

Yep its on Hwy 146 jut off of I-10 at Mont Belvieu exit.
