Every game I’ve turned to atmosphere seems flat/dead. Games are blah.

What’s up with that?

Regional weekend >>>>> Super Regional Weekend

Too many weak sauce matchups? No juice

Regionals are better than supers. But the Coastal-Auburn and Oregon State-FSU series’ both were great. The Ark-Tenn game was good yesterday. Don’t know what you are watching.

The only one worth a shite is ArkVol

The rest of teams have all gone to sniff farts and pick up fishing poles.

Don’t mean this as a jab, but probably because your team isn’t in it. No matter how big of a fan you are, it’s more fun when you have a dog in the fight.

It will get more exciting as more of the SEC and big name teams start to face elimination.

There are only a handful of places that can produce real noise & electricity. Sadly, too many of those schools aren’t playing.
They announced on last nights game that Oregon State had just set a new attendance record for their stadium: 4.400 fans. The sizzle just isn’t there

I mean the crowd in Fayetteville even seemed sleepy yesterday. Announcers even mentioned it.

That's what, about half of OUs softball attendance?

[LSU HAS ENTERED THE CHAT]

Well I’m hoping that LSU can somehow and someday generate enough excitement and electricity to rival the atmosphere in Swayze Field in Oxford, MS. We aren’t quite there yet, but are trending in the right direction. Maybe next year? (Fingers crossed).

Yesterday, in Baton Rouge, Alex Box Stadium had over 12,000 fans for the 5th time this year. Maybe someone can get those 12k fans to blow bubbles, throw beer or even whistle to generate some noise & excitement down the road. They just sit on their collective hands way too much.

BTW, here are the 2025 attendance numbers, in case you’re interested.
SEC (End of reg season)
Per 247 Sports

SEC
1. LSU (35) – 11,071
2. Mississippi State (30) – 11,000
3. Arkansas (36) – 9,907
4. Mississippi (33) – 9,361
5. South Carolina (35) – 7,183
6. Texas (31) – 7,113
7. Florida (36) – 6,303
8. Texas A&M (34) – 6,076
10. Tennessee (38) – 5,543
11. Auburn (31) – 5,284
20. Alabama (32) – 3,857
22. Vanderbilt (33) – 3,593
26. Kentucky (29) – 3,300
33. Oklahoma (30) – 2,810
36. Georgia (33) – 2,650
65. Missouri (28) – 1,272

ETA. Corrected numbers. Original was from earlier in season.

Imagine losing a Regional to Murray State, at home

Almost as embarrassing as going 0-2 vs UTSA in a home regional

They’ve probably been duds because your team isn’t in them. I had a hell of a time in Baton Rouge yesterday.

Every single super has been sold out with record crowds. Auburn had the place rocking, they just ran into a hot team. Louisville almost looked like a fun place.

LSU game was competitive until the 6th inning and it was definitely loud.

Just like, the CFP and NCAA Tourney, the NIL era has proved that you can buy a team. All the while destroying parody.

Hahaha you fricking imbecile.

Coastal Carolina, Murray State and UTSA prove that you’re brutally wrong.

They mentioned the crowd going quiet when the Vols hit the homer in the 9th to get within one. They weren't describing the overall atmosphere.

The crowd was juiced for 99% of the game yesterday.

The TV broadcasts have been borderline nap time. Like Sunday afternoon watching a golf tournament. Snoozers

Really impressive considering how bad they were/have been.

We need the Cocks to get good again.

Need more night games. LSU and Arkansas should have been prime time.

Imagine 7000 people showing up 4 times a week to watch you suck major arse. 28000 dudes and dudettes every week we’re experiencing complete mediocrity and the guy in charge of the whole circus was probably making more money than all of them.

This true. I will say the heat affected the entire stadium from the 7th inning on. We were baking out there lol.
