SEC was overrated and ACC undervalued all year. ACC could still have half the CWS field out of 9 bids and 3 Regional host sites. SEC will get a max of two out of 13 bids and 8 Regional hosts. Massive underperformance.

1/2 of the CWS field has been teams from the same conference on 8 different occasions. The SEC has done it 6 times, the ACC twice.
This year isn’t an anomaly. The ACC plays good baseball.
I still think the Champ goes home to the SEC

Agree that the ACC was undervalued but if the SEC ends up with two in Omaha then that is 25% of the field. SEC had just over 20% of the bids. So the conference exceeded its original % expectation.
ACC had 14% of the bids and could end up with as much as 63% in Omaha which is an awesome performance this year. And even if they only end up with three or four, they will have still earned it on the field.
