I played baseball in hs wasn’t great but good enough to make the team. Anyways I played slow pitch softball for the first time at summer camp and it’s deceptively hard. Maybe it was bc I was young and trying to crush it but I fouled off or popped out a bunch.

I grew up in a redneck town where slow pitch was a big deal and the dudes who did that instead of going to college could damn near hit the fense on purpose as to not go over their home run limit.

Sadly I did the first game in it I ever played
A bunch of old guys who play the tournament scene
Pitcher threw this sidearm underhand action that went away from my body . Whiffed it and we got run ruled by them but my strikeout ended it

Would the best slow pitch softball player make a MLB roster?
If you pitched a baseball underhand to a MLB power hitter, how far would it go?
If MLB had a tee ball game, would any outs be recorded?

I used to work with a guy who was a pitcher in a league. At the top of the arc, his pitch was about 10-15 feet high and would generally bounce off the plate. It was really hard to get the timing right to connect with it squarely since he could vary the height of the arc, which varies the speed it's falling at.
