re: We are all DVH fans this June.

Most of the comments regarding DVH have been fairly positive in nature.

I realize I am a Razorback fan, so I don't claim to have 20/20 vision with regards to the Hog baseball team.......

But honest question......for those that have stated they don't like or can't stand DVH.......why??? I'd love to hear some well reasoned responses because he seems (to this Razorback fan) to be about the most non-confrontational coach the league has.

Curious to hear your honest takes and not just a bunch of trolling bullshite that nobody wants to wade through.
I really don't think they have the crowd mics turned on. I will promise you it is loud.
Because I don't believe everyone on this forum is a douchebag, thank you and helluva year Tennessee. You ran into a buzzsaw, one that I hope keeps on keeping on in Omaha.

Hey Omahawgs....for the love of Christ....we still have to record 15 outs in this game. And while I wouldn't want to trade places with Tennessee right now, there is still WAAAAYYYY too much baseball to be played here.
There's a very basic, agronomic reason that LSU's turf doesn't look its best right now. And not much that could have done about it as the winter overseeding fades out and the bermudagrass is just starting to get established.

It is what it is and will be most years that LSU is playing into June. It's not lack of funds, lack of skill, or anything remotely related....it's just Mother Nature and timing.

Hope LSU takes out WVU today and that my Hogs can meet up with them in what would be a fantastic game should we advance to Omaha.
This guy watches baseball in a different dimension than I do regarding Van Horn.
Been struck by lightning and lived to tell about it. For frick's sakes, whatever needs to be done for the safety of the players, fans, officials, etc.......let it happen.

I'm frickin 59 years old and still play slow pitch softball at a very high level.

I WOULD NEVER strike out.....EVER........
As a Razorback fan, I think that a very competitive MSU baseball squad is good for the SEC as a whole. I think this is an excellent hire. Will it produce fruit...only time will tell.

MSU is a staple of SEC baseball, right up there with LSU and others (though not in titles LSU fans!!! I give you that).

Beautiful stadium, awesome fan support....hoping this hire works out as well as I think it will!
damn fu$% stick, I wasn't about to take the time to parse through 60 years of football scheduling, but I'd bet my estimate is closer to reality than whatever you are proposing.

shite, I was just trying to "keep it real", not trying to over-exaggerate any football success we may have enjoyed in the last 35 years.

Pick on somebody your own size shitstain.
What the hell, I ran the numbers for fun/curiosity/misery.....

Since the 1990 season we are 213-213. That's pretty abysmal consdering every year we have averaged 2 to 2.5 rent-a-wins. If you figure 2 rent-a wins per year for 35 seasons (1990-2024), we are 143 and roughly 200 against teams with a pulse.

Now, all time, we are 713-522, so since year 1 to 1990, we were 500-309.

Now...before any of you frickers say, "who gives a flip about Arkansas football", or "that we are the laughingstock of the SEC"--- yeah.... we kinda fit that narrative since 1990.
As a Hog fan born in 1967, our record is 400-294 for a 57.6% winning %.

I'm glad I wasnt born from 1990-present. Those numbers wouldn't look very good at all.
I figured Honey Badger had earned more from LSU than anyone.
I'm not convinced Ark vs Tenn will be that chippy. Certainly could be, but as a whole, our series with them the last few years haven't seen a rash of chippiness in my opinion. If so, then I'd rather have a that kind of game at home vs in their park.
Arkansas has played Vanderbilt once in the last 14 seasons.
Was listening to the OU broadcast on Sirius XM....announcers seemed to indicated he was just returning from injury.
Meat judging...hmmm...ok.....

Let's talk about cheese production in the South. That's all Mississippi State and there isn't a close second!!!
Old Mrs. 3rd baseMAN is a helluva ball player.
