I had no idea how giddy Clemson fans were before reading through a few hundred comments on a Clemson fan Facebook page the other day. The '85 Bears don't have shite on this season's Clemson team!

Putting a lot of stock in a QB who has essentially proved nothing. Weak schedule certainly helps.

And 8&5 in the preseason again for no discernible reason.

Starting the season on the road against a top 4 team, when the entire playoff system rewards teams who play weaker OOC schedules...

Clemson should be locked in. They only have 2 good teams on their schedule this season in LSU and South Carolina. On the flip side, they can sleepwalk through their entire conference schedule and still make the CFP, so they don't necessarily need the win.

Get us out of the top 25. Until I see an offense with a pulse against a real opponent, I will be skeptical.

Auburn’s schedule is interesting. Relative to historical standards, it’s lacking in the number of extremely difficult opponents. However, we play quite a few tough opponents on the road to start the season.

Based off these rankings, all of these are in September:

@ #33 Baylor
@ #23 Oklahoma
@ #24 Texas A&M

We could very easily be anywhere from 5-0 to 2-3 when #6 Georgia comes to town on October 11th.

From October on, all three of our toughest games are at home:

#6 Georgia- October 11
#29 Missouri- October 18
#9 Alabama- November 29

I was told Texas has an easy schedule. We open up week 1 on the road at:
