What’s the deal with the timing of the firing?
I’m not going to say it’s likely, but I also wouldn’t say it’s impossible to still make it. It’s not like your team is awful imo.
Home against Kentucky and ole miss, and a road series vs Missouri isnt exactly murderers row.

I just found out that Missouri AD told reporters that Mizzou basketball went winless 2 years ago. The baseball coach needs more time. Baseball is a lot tougher to turn the team around than basketball. Less players to deal with.

I think you answered your own question. They didn’t want him to slip into the postseason and delay the process and possibly make the decision that needed to be made regardless tougher.
