Supposedly the reasoning is that it’s to encourage people to purchase tickets and attend live since proceeds go to CHOA. They didn’t televise the games at Coolray either

Not really.
It's rare that UGA gets any preferential treatment from SEC-TV.
I would have expected it more from the ACC network.

I'm not entirely certain, but I believe a large part of the reason is that the people who televise the Braves aren’t connected to ESPN. Meaning there are no cameras available
