Bettors dont like our odds anymore, and that is perfectly fine with me.

We have to rebound and hold our own against the bigs.

Chaney, Cardwell, and Broome need to have their best games yet.

We also need all guards ready to hit shots. Miles Kelly and Denver you need to be ready to shoot them threes buddy!

Randy- Rebounds and FTs
Awestruck- limit turnovers
Huss- Make foul shots LFG!!
MarshallCoTiger- Play with effort.
TigerTime Burrito- Rebounding!
Chex- Score one more point than them.
FlyDownTheField- Do Not Let Clayton Make Clutch Shots
Tailback- effort and rebounding
auburnnyc94- control the pace.
TickyTiger- Get back to midseason form
thirdlawson- keep Haugh and Condon off the offensive glass and make Clayton work on defense
Wareaglepete- Kelly find his stroke and rebounding
LanierSpots- frick those bitches
Allin2010- Defensive effort
Slacker- Value each possession
MTurbo- limit Clayton's impact and free up Broome from Condon

Rebounding is my big focus because that's within our control. Shots are either going to fall or they're not but we have to control the things we can control like rebounding and defensive intensity.

Got to make free throws if we actually get them too.

Take open shots.

Guard and contest without fouling.

Value each possession. Make standard passes.

Rebound.

Limit turnovers to those actually earned and not merely gifted.

This will be huge- we have been getting called for this too much.

You are so right, Carl.

Unforced errors need to be minimized.

Making a fancy pass and throwing away a possession is way worse than getting a good set, making them defend for 22 seconds and finding a good look at the basket- even if the shot does not fall.

Dribbling into a 3 is not the best offense we have. Move it side to side, make the ball touch the paint. Find a wide open shooter.

Play with effort. They outworked us in the first match up and that was the difference

Rebounding!

I was really encouraged by Broome's rebounding in both Atlanta games. I hope he's ready to go on Saturday. Cardwell was outstanding. Chaney was good for the most part, but he also had some plays where he didn't tag his guy and gave up a few rebounds that should have been his. UF is relentless and it will take everybody doing everything right to secure those defensive rebounds.

I have to hope our effort is cranked up. Lot of our struggles come amidst sleepwalking grinding. Even the Alabama State game we sleptwalked through it. I dont think we were mentally prepared for Florida the first matchup even though I still think Florida has better team.

On the other hand against Houston, Duke, and so on when we wanted to fight we did it. If we are going to lose we need to go down swinging.

If the game is close

do not let Walter Clayton Jr get the ball. He will make the shot

I think we can win. Their bigs ran circles around us in effort and rebounding energy in the game at Neville. Gotta out hustle them on the boards.

And Denver needs to have a DPOTY game on Walter Clayton, Jr.

Id actually like us to make a real effort to control the pace and play slow. We seem to struggle rebounding when we get the slightest bit tired but rebound ok in the half court setting when it isn’t so up and down.

Broome and Cardwell need to just work on their FTs for a week straight.

We lost to Florida last time by 9, and we missed 9 FTs.

I think Dylan is the x factor in this game. If his defense holds up and he doesn't get in foul trouble we can win it.
