Earned the #1 overall seed with an all world regular season run and then took care of business this weekend when it mattered most.

Auburn has certainly earned it.
Us and Florida have taken a beating getting here and I worry about Duke and Houston being relatively fresh with an easier conference schedule.

I'm saying two Final 4s in 7 years is impressive and something only a handful of programs can say they've done this century...UConn, Duke, Villanova, Houston, and Florida come to mind right away but other than those teams I can't think of any others that have pulled that off.

While midseason we may not have had peers, now UF and Duke are clearly in our class (arguably better of late). So in that respect, we've at least not left anything on the table. For a team that has been awesome to watch and resilient, I'm really thankful for that.
Give what they've accomplished, would have hated for them to lose a team outside of our tier, and at this point, that's no longer possible.
That's honestly not a "house money" excuse - it's natty or bust for me, but we've passed the mark of major disappointment so I'm glad these guys at least have the banner to show for it.

I meant to say two Final 4s in 7 seasons instead of years but you're correct. It's actually two Final 4s in the last 6 NCAA tournaments due to the 2020 tournament being cancelled.

The whole conference has been good and playing them has given this team a toughness that has served them well. They won't be favored in any more games, but count them out at your peril.

I agree to Congrats to Auburn. Michigan State got away with endless fouls. Especially their white boy who shoved to get in position for rebounds and never called. They are well versed in controlling refs. But it didn’t work.
