Buzz to Maryland?

I think it might happen.
Guys, I am at a loss for words. Not on the Buzz moving, but of what’s next to come of things change. The name that’s popped up if Buzz leaves is Fred Hoiberg, and I don’t know much about him.

There is a lot of smoke, even reports of him "pushing" for the job.

Is. Billy Gillespie available?

Maryland 247 saying most of the smoke around Buzz to Maryland is coming from his side and not Maryland, but he is on their list.

Let him walk. Tired of overpaid coaches shaking us down.
Want a big payday? Stop writing books and coach. Win something meaningful.

He's trying to jump ship, then jump. Or else, buckle down and build the new roster already. Get some guys that can shoot.

Yep. Honestly - I do not blame you.
A&M supports their clubs. They pay for the facilities. And look - I think Buzz Williams is a very good coach.
But if he wants to go ? Let him go. And get another.
Every hire is a risk - but you have to take the risk. I think Kentucky might have found lightning in a bottle. Is there a name out there that can be that for A&M ?

Good get that 3 piece wearing weirdo out of here.

With everything Willard had to say and Maryland's AD also jumping ship, I don't know that I'd be willing to dive into that program from a stable position at another power conference school.

Buzz is looking at a very different roster next season with a ton of upperclassmen talent leaving. Its better to look to leave a season too early than too late..
Take a lateral move to reset the expectations because next season is not going to be any easier in the SEC and hes looking at a pretty hefty rebuild.

Pearl will put in a good word for him at Maryland. Nobody owns Bruce like Buzz does.

If only you were at a loss for words would be fricking great

That doesn't mean nearly what it used to mean. Established coaches all over the country are in the same boat. Yearly roster rebuilds is the "new normal" now with the transfer portal.

Would suck but if you want to one up Texas after they hired Schloss away y’all would be smart to go after Beard.

I’m all for Eric Muss but the Nebraska coach has history with our AD.

Buzz had a pretty good run. But that may have been his ceiling. And the timing is now for him to make a move. Next season is a going to be a rebuild after losing so many upper classmen.

Like clockwork buzz and his people vying for a job. Basically told Arkansas he’d walk on broken glass to get to Fayetteville from Aggieland.

Hoiberg is on the hot seat at Nebraska and Muss’s family wants the So Cal life.
