is quietly (maybe not very quietly) building a dominant baseball team in Athens….we will see how he does at program-building, but his team is pretty impressive both at the plate and on the mound.

Actually, looks like that post was pretty damn accurate….if you’ve been waiting to pull that trigger, you swung and missed just like all your football and basketball takes…you really are stupid dude.

I stand by what I said about Eyanson…looks like I was spot on

He was a pretty well-respected pitching coach who looks to be a pretty damn good head coach…the East looks tough

Eyanson was shut down yesterday and very good against Texas as well just got unlucky with those baby hits finding green grass.

Haven’t liked him since he was a douche in the postgame after we beat them in the sec tourney. He did everything he could to not give LSU any credit. He’s just mad that Jay is still his daddy

You want to wait until after the season ends to make extrapolated observations and predictions?

You must be one boring arse, stupid individual

If by spot on, you mean he’s K’d 52 hitters in 32IP since your moronic post, then yes, you were spot on.

He wasn’t the best pitcher on the mound for LSU last nite, and wasn’t the best starting pitcher in the game….look up the stats and come back to me…you lost the argument already

they’ve been absolutely dog shite on the mound and that’s his specialty, team ERA is almost 5. For all the bitching about Yeskie at least LSU is in the top 20 in the country for ERA.

He was pretty damn impressive and gave his team the opportunity to win the game. What do you want from a starting pitcher?

He’s better than what UGA has been running out there.

Just remember the ranters hated Wes Johnson in 2023. They were bitching more about him all through the College World Series than Yeskie ever got bitched about.

When Georgia hired him the rant reaction was “good riddance.” They also (somewhat rightfully) bitched that the news broke before our season was over. And yes, after that, Jay made all the mound visits and kept WJ’s arse on the bench.

So no revisionist history by the Yeskie haters. A lot of these same folks bitched a blue streak about WJ. He was not some sainted and well-loved coach while he was here.

Now. All that said, congratulations to him for (so far) building a great program at Georgia.

His teams' pitching numbers at UGA seem to back up that angry sentiment. They've been at the bottom of the conference in ERA both his seasons there,
