It’s been like 5 years and fans still don’t understand the transfer portal & roster building.

This guys floor is an innings burner. But if they can harness his stuff, could he used in leverage spots. He was acquired to take the role of the same type of player that was lost.
He had 3 balks in 4ip in the last game of the year vs Wichita st. Sounds like buddy had an eventful season.
There is too much “feelings” involved when it comes to recruiting. It’s called fandom. Everyone is Next, until they aren’t. We need less feelings in recruiting.

Like if Longstreet is any good, there is likelihood that Houston never throws meaningful passes at lsu. Albeit, Kiffin has done a great job at hoarding QBs vs what other coaches have been able to do.

ABS impact is minuscule. It’s ok to say his stuffed has ticked down and that it is not voluntary.

But I agree the HBP is worrisome.

Hate to call it random but it doesn’t align with the rest of his career.

He pitched 25ip in the Cape in 2025 & only hit 2 batters.

There is also this.

But his stuff has shown some decline lately.

Damn, I liked McCoy coming out. Think he can play SS
People will believe anything they read on the internet pennie

Dawson Park (*gasps*) isn't in the lineup at SS when the only other SS on the roster makes his debut. Crazy!

Park's Cape assignment may be over, or could just be a day off.

Seems like a really good kid with a strong family.

And that would be incorrect but nice try though.

Nope, it’s 100% accurate.
Derek Curiel

Hit-first lefty, can play CF. Has some juice to hit it out the yard

The Cape is heavily built by scouts as well. They want a book on Park playing SS for next years draft. All the more important for him to do it this summer if the expectation is that he will play other positions at LSU.

Yap, this too. Dude is going to die on this hill isn’t he
Nate Davis reminds me a lot of Curiel. I think he can have a role

I don’t think he understands how the Cape cod league works. Each team has a GM, they build rosters well in advance.

If they brought Park to play SS & others to play 3B, they aren’t just going to change everything up because Park may not play there for LSU. With Milam returning last minute there wasn’t much time to pivot and fulfill the request to get Park time at other spots. Even so, a SS can move to 3B rather easily. It’s not rocket science.

Looking at the roster there is only one other SS (Owen Paino) who has not taken an AB yet. So yes, Park is playing SS. This type of exercise is called confirmation bias on Armstrong’s part and it kinda sucks there’s an audience for this.
