re: Who is better offensive mind: Payton or Kiffin?

quote:he’s also about to win the division with Bo freaking Nix. It’s okay to admit it. Sean is one of the best offensive minds the sport has seen.
Payton also had a HOF at QB

quote:agree with pretty much all of this because I’ve harvested 2 separate deer who blew up at 7 becoming non typical deer. However i look at as a numbers game. On my properties 4-5 year old 8 points are still going to get harvested so more food can be available to the 2-3 year old 10 points or better. It’s not a correct way to do it but its been successful and we both seen outliners of bucks blowing up at older ages but its been rare but possible.
That one encounter with a free ranging deer, combined with research from guys like Charlie Alshiemer taught me that we can never fully know what a deer is going to grow into given enough time.

quote:not sure if you ever hunted the river or around but it was pretty common during my younger years at lake Mary and mayersville that the older hunters referred to big bucks as swamp donkeys or hookin bulls. Corny name sure, but that saying been around a while.
some goofball with more money than sense comes up with "swamp donkey". swamp donkey would be a good name for an 800 acre redneck club in alabama.

Add a watering hole, plant some sawtooth and fruit trees. Try and make bedding areas and never step foot In them, a sanctuary does wonders.

That was an excellent team but they blew the NFCCG.

Both guard positions we need. Love the right tackle from the U. He will play guard in the nfl.

Was just telling my group, Mickey and Ireland may still have their fastball. Easily the best group since that ‘17 class.

quote:yes, but they are not going by the primos brand name but rather the small town brand. They film at the testing grounds, Tara, and Walkers Cottonwood tract. (Will technically doesn’t own primos anymore).
Are the Primos guys still doing hunting show in MS? I know Jimmy was getting up there in age and they went thru a couple different places recently after Will sold his place.

Notice how it’s only offensive coaches? You know the side of the ball LSU was god awful in?
re: Frank only had two RBs that he recruited and coached reach 1000 yards during his tenure

quote:*any running back would’ve had a 1000 yards because that was Les Miles offense*.
Jeremy Hill would've also had 1000 yards, regardless of the coach. He was a baller.
re: To those of you freaking out over losing Frank Wilson
Posted by Jim Hopper on 12/17/25 at 6:23 am to LSUFreek
quote:totally irrelevant in the NIL era. Btw lane Kiffin was the HC at Tennessee when all those players were committed.
Wilson once had Jarvis Landry, La'el Collins & Freak Johnson, all committed to TN, then when he suddenly got the job here, they all followed him like the pied piper to LSU.
quote:
Frank has a mysterious grip on certain recruits in the NIL era
Antonie from westgate
Stewart from Karr last year
Bradford from Catholic this year
Mack from ehert
Derek Williams from westgate
All of these suppose blue chips that were in his core area he completely whiffed on them. At one time I would agree a person like Frank Wilson, Burton burns, David Johnson, Terry Joseph was needed for a staff to recruit the River parishes successfully now that’s not the case.

quote:Brad gotten real big into real estate (great guy btw), he has a place in Claiborne he’s flipping with his partner, all the others are filming with Walker at cottonwood killing swamp donkeys.
Many of the Primos guys are still doing stuff, just under other names. Some are in the real estate biz. Jimmy has a gun store in Madison. Brad ditched Togo several years ago. I don’t know for a fact, but I think it was over some typical camp drama.
