I would prefer UM. A&M is such a wildcard that no one wants to face if Taylor is having a good day, plus Buzz gives Bruce fits. UM runs a twin tower lineup like our starting one but aren’t as deep and make a lot of turnovers. I don’t think they have the offensive firepower to hang with us unless we are cold/off (which is still a real possibility).

I want aTm. If we figure out how to beat them, I think we’ll be better off moving forward, if only for the positive mindset it will get the guys in. It will also most likely mean we are playing at a higher level than we have been.
Gotta stomp some blue jays first though.

I think either match up in Atlanta is good for us. The key will be just getting past Creighton.

I typically don’t care about people looking ahead - we are fans, not the players.
But I’m only worried about Creighton right now, and I’m truly worried.

I’m worried this team is ready to cash it in. Things I have been reading lately are not good. Dylan and Steven Pearl calling out team for lack of effort.

The team got fed a little rat poison after being touted as the greatest regular season AU team of all time and winning the most impressive regular season ship.

They ARE one of the greatest regular season teams in SEC/NCAA history. Even if they lose the next game, nothing will change that. So that’s not rat poison, just reality. Just that it means jack shite with regard to what will happen in the tournament, plenty of upsets already in the books.

I think we snap out of with any kind of win over a team like Creighton in an NCAA tourney atmosphere. But the game itself tomorrow could be a grind. It’s a win the game by any means necessary type game and live to fight another day, the win itself will give us the confidence we need going forward.
