Well it's non other than Tennessee and Texas... how embarrassing.
For good measure Tennessee has the fences of a highschool band box AND they recently bragged about setting an attendence record of 6,298.

Texas fans are the epitome of the saying:

All Hat and No Cattle

Do we really have to play on that plastic field this weekend?

Is it even baseball without dirt and grass? The fields looks stupid with turf. Don't these programs have the money to invest in grounds crews?

Flipped to the Texas game last night…what a depressing setting. I had to turn it off

UGA too now unfortunately. So embarrassing. Especially when we have a proud turf grass program.

A stain on Wes Johnson's tenure no matter what he accomplishes

In the early 2010s, Tennessee had a great grass infield. The greenskeeper was a great big fat guy but the infield was immaculate. What happened?

That and listening to the crowd say “Go Vandy Boys.”

Very sad experience.

Tennessee does grow some bomb weed, and that is the only thing good about that state.

It is a sign of the times. Even America's pastime has gone to shite. I bet their apple pie is gluten free and their hot dogs are vegan, too.

It should be 100% a requirement by the SEC to have all member schools in football, baseball, and softball have natural surfaces.

Coach Wes Johnson, who coached at Dallas Baptist and Central Arkansas — both of which utilized turf fields — made the push to go from natural grass to AstroTurf, joining programs like Vanderbilt, Oklahoma, Virginia Tech, Missouri and UCLA, which also play on that surface. Johnson said 48 of 56 games for Georgia will be played on artificial turf including at Texas and Kentucky.

You guys ever watch high school or club baseball? They're switching to turf as well or new ones getting built are starting with turf.

Because it’s cheaper to maintain. An Ag school at a major university like Tennessee shouldn’t have that issue
