We have what we need to win in Omaha. You don't need a stable of arms. You need 4 to 5. We have 4 good ones. A 5th is a bonus.

I disagree. If you're going to sit him, do it game one. Piss him off. Because right now he walks around like a sad puppy.

You don't have to find a way. They're freakin fast as hell. Speed creates its own space. Get em on the field BRIAN

Dude is a professional. His effort and love for the game is contagious.

Ok It didn't work. I get it. Jay would've preferred it work no doubt. But it didn't. So, its now at least a threat to do it and must be respected, plus experience gained in the attempt. Not all negatives. Mid week is great time to work it.

Sadly to some this is a frustrating comment. The reason "facility improvements" is such a popular take is because people can wrap their minds around that. They can't wrap their minds around the day to day in and outs it takes to be successful. Its just an easy talking point to use, so that if it does happen and success follows, they can say "I've been saying we needed a new building!" This gives them some sort of validation of knowledge they really don't have.
Starting pitchers are viewed like QBs. If they aren't spectacular, people want to find a replacement. I do not share this view.

I've been saying the same things. Until Guidry gets right, I don't see any changes to the starting rotation. Having a couple of trustworthy relievers is priceless.

Will go down as one of the best to ever do it before its all said and done.

Dalton Beck

Anybody else see flashes of Bill Wagner when you see Beck's mechanics?

re: Do we see Schmidt tonight?

Need to. These guys need to realize, with Cowan and Evans being able to go multiple innings, we just 5 or 6 of them dudes to get us 1 clean inning a weekend. That's it. Nut up and throw a 3 outs.

There are a lot of good arms there. They just have to decide they wanna be that guy. I see 5 or 6 options outside of Cowan and Evans that have the stuff to be dominant.
He's going into his 2nd year my guy. How can you judge the development with no full off season?

He said after the game it was a little cramp. I don't think it was even that TBH. The other LeBron type of stuff.

Does Frey have arm troubles?

I noticed last year there would be games where he didn't even warm up. Was curious if anyone knew if he was having issues, which would lead to him not in a position.
It should be 100% a requirement by the SEC to have all member schools in football, baseball, and softball have natural surfaces.
