2025 SEC BBall Hot Seat

Now who should be on a hot seat? Maybe Lamont Paris, Rodney Terry, Mike White, Porter Moser, Matt McMahon. Those are the only fan bases I see get frustrated. But the buy outs are too big or their teams will go dancing, I predict everyone will be safe this year.

That's our dream. Even if it's not Wade, McMahon must geaux. Another year is unsustainable.

Not on the hot seat but giving Paris an extension after one season was pretty stupid. Luckily Tanner’s dumb arse is out of that position so I think with Donati something like that wouldn’t happen again.

OU fans have checked out on Moser. Its not they are fair weather fans they used to fill up even in down times. Its just horrible basketball and fans are bored watching it.
And with Thunder up locally you can’t have such a bad product and expect fans.
I read up on Moser contract and was shocked to see he was extended in 2022 (year 2 and had not made tournament yet). They extended him from 2026 to 2028. That is criminal! This is going to mean suckage for at least a few more years in empty arena.
The AD should be fired for that extension. There was no need for it that early at his pay. If he had walked (no way) you could hire many others.
So even though Moser needs fired, the AD incompetence means he likely survives at least a few more years and that might just kill off BB at OU as fans stay tuned out. Then add a few more years after that for new coach to rebuild and we’re at least 4-5 years away from winning mens basketball.
And if they do somehow fire him thats a lot of money cost which will put the new coach at a disadvantage to make up for it.

Paris is a good coach, he'll be fine. South Carolina honestly has had a run of bad luck this season.
