Bama fans, what was it like winning a bunch of championships in a short time frame?

Did the excitement levels taper off as you won more and more? Or, was it the same level of hype in 2020 as it was in 2009? I know this probably varies from person to person.
ETA: Just curious to see if any of y'all ever got bored with it all. Though, this is probably not the best place to ask. Not that many casual fans here.

I’m old..
So let me say it was:
great in the 60’s
Fantastic in the 70’s
Awesome in the 2010’s
It never gets old and the excitement is always there

quote:Nope. Us older Bama fans have gone through this a few times. We know eventually we come back to the pack for a while, so we learned to appreciate each one.

Is now one of those times we come back to the pack? Too soon to tell, we’re 4 years removed from our last and we lost in the playoffs 2 years ago. Won the SEC again then also.

If you're referring to the 2009 - 2012 stretch it was awesome but it was a strange run in a way because in a way that run was close to not happening. Alabama actually needed a little outside help in both 2011 and 2012 to insure we finished at #2. Despite the close calls not getting into the BCS title game each year we blew out each team (Texas, LSU, and Notre Dame) in the national title game those years.
The interesting thing about that time period is that the State of Alabama came within about 45 seconds of winning its 5th national championship in a row because Florida State needed a last minute drive to score the game winning touchdown to beat Auburn in the 2013 national championship game.

It’s fantastic. You certainly get spoiled and all but the biggest of games become less intense. But winning a natty is hard; ask Bobby Bowden and Steve Spurrier.
So there are fewer big games and you expect to beat schools like Vandy without a fight because that’s what champions do. This is really an issue with scheduling and lack of parity in CFB. But the season overall still gives you goosebumps.
LSU baseball in the 90’s was another one. So much fun.

It did actually. Bama fatigue was a real thing even for fans. Ticket prices were skyrocketing, games were in California for the NC and flight cost were more than tickets. We as said do we go watch LSY, Auburn or Tennessee or do we go to the playoff first round or NC. Because you can’t go to all 5. It wasn’t a short period either as you say. It seemed like forever Bama was a monster that either won it or was one play away from winning 5 more. That’s the craziest part to me about Saban is not necessarily how many he won, but how many he should or could have won.

Bwahahahahahaha
Draggies are so desperate to experience a championship they are begging people in the forums to tell them how it feels.
This has to be one of the most desperate pleas for help I have ever seen.
OP is like....
Please oh please Bama goods of football.
Bless me with how it feels to be relevant in mens sports.
Please oh please!

If that were the case I would have just made a thread asking any fan of a school that's won a NC how it feels.
The purpose of the thread was to see if any Bama fans ever got bored with it all.

Man, that A&M logo sure brings out some derailing trolls. You're not adding to the topic.
This is just me being curious about fan psychology during a dynasty.

They didn't get bored, but they sure got entitled. They are still dragging their jaws in disbelief.

We're not finished winning championships. In fact, we probably would have won in 2022 and 2024 if the rest of the college football world weren't so scared.

It was surreal? People forget the amount of luck involved in Alabama getting to a bunch of those titles
So it kind of felt like we were the CHOSEN ONES
Our other sports were doing good too! It got even weirder when in the middle of the run some random guy from Tuscaloosa literally became the WBC heavyweight champion of the world
