Florida is not the reigning SEC softball champ, Tennessee is. Florida is the reigning SEC tournament champ.

As amusing as it is, we understand the D1 Softball community is desperate to see anybody but Oklahoma sitting atop the rankings.

Adding Texas and OU to the conference will likely impact Softball the most, both programs (obviously OUs dominance) just knocked almost every SEC program down a few notches.

Florida and Texas were the last 2 teams OU took out last year on their way to a 4th straight tilte. If they want to give Patty Gasso more ammo as an underdog go for it.

Florida is a good team and with the former catcher Jocelyn they will be a threat . Texas hates us and Mike White can’t stand losing to OU so they will be a threat . I would put in Tenn which had a talented roster and if their star pitcher can pitch strikes look out .
