The SEC sent their best, but their best wasn't good enough.
Is the SEC ever going to win another title ?
The days of the Selection Committee overloading the playoffs with SEC teams are gone.
Hell, one year they even selected 2 SEC Teams to play for the title, thus assuring that the SEC would win the title.
Now that the SEC has to prove it on the field vs the best teams from every conference they are failing miserably.
Also the SEC always had a recruiting advantage because they were paying players while others, especially the Big10, were following the rules.
When you combine "having to prove it on the field" with "everyone paying their players" it doesn't bode well for the future of the SEC.
I hope the SEC can stay competitive because it makes College Football more interesting, but it doesn't look good going forward.

The SEC is a washed up G5 conference.

This is what twenty years of pent up frustration and bitterness looks like.

This guy’s first posts seem pro-Tennessee and then he decided he’d become an Ohio State troll when the Vols got rolled. He’s probably SavageOrangeJug role playing.

I bleed Scarlet & Gray.
I know that you're sad that you couldn't beat Ohio State at home.
But don't worry, it will be alright alright alright.

P.S. Jack Sawyer says hello.

I remember 2 years ago when the committee overloaded the playoffs with B1G teams, and not a single one made it. We got Georgia-TCU and it was…an event

Officials were scared of PI & Holding calls in the Cotton Bowl. It’s Texas’s fault for not leaning into it as much as OSU. Cam should have put Sawyer in a headlock like y’all did Collin Simmons all game, maybe Quinn gets that ball off.

People definitely said this in 2003 before the SEC even won the title

That's a whole bunch of incoherent jibberish.
Were you crying when you typed that ?
Eyes full of tears maybe ?

Why did you wait 15 years to do it?

You finally have good enough teams to compete after all these years. Grats I guess. Have fun.

I don’t blame you, y’all have looked good in the playoffs and to be honest I was more surprised with Oregon’s performance than Tennessee or Texas. The Texas game was close, Tennessee was just happy to be there and looked like it but Oregon was undefeated and that game was over halfway through the second quarter at 31-0 for an essential home game on the West Coast. In Tennessee’s defense, they played at Ohio State at night down 21-10 early in the third quarter with the ball. I would be more concerned as an Oregon fan than Tennessee, Texas, or Georgia

I am sure it felt good to get that off your chest after over a decade of frustration.

The SEC has won 13 of the past 18 college football natties. 5 SEC teams have won natties during that period. Just because you flipped the rules in your favor for a few years doesn’t mean you’ve de-throned the king. Pump the brakes big guy.
