As long as the job doesn’t require him leaving Berkeley to recruit he will do ok.
If Cal expects him to attend high school football games across California to recruit and scout they will be disappointed.

Why the hell would a school as liberal as Berkeley even want someone like Harsin. Seems like a complete disaster for everyone.

You gotta give it to him. He was one of the few that didn’t encourage his players to take a shot that was a complete lie. I know it cost him his job but the balls were big to fight the machine. He probably saved a lot of lives doing that. Just wait til they release the trial studies of the so called ‘vax’. He should be reminding every one of this once the truth comes out.

I’ve moved on.
Harsin did not recruit. It was never going to work out.
The fit was poor culturally for him, his family, and Auburn.
I blame Greene.
I never thought of JJ as a stellar AD, but in retrospect at least he understood culture and fit to some extent.
