Everybody in the playoff had a weak scheduled except Georgia. That's the key to getting in the playoff now

It looks like in the age of NIL collectives and other sources of player income there is no weak schedule. It doesn't exist anymore.

The wanted to fire the coach a few weeks ago remember? They weren’t good they are just peaking at the right time and the other teams left in the playoffs are high school teams. Did you watch those qbs last night?

The SEC is always about the depth of the top teams. You played 2 of the top teams and lost 1 of them.

You missed

Tenn
OM
Bama
SC
LSU

and played UF with a walk on at QB.

It was an easy schedule.

Everyone outside of like 5 states knew how overrated the SEC was this year.

Relying on a BIG 12 team to beat Ohio State has to sting.

I truly don’t think anyone had an impressive season

The SEC champion had probably the most impressive resume and finished 120th in rushing yards and lost in the quarterfinals giving up 90 yards passing.

Ohio State is clicking but overall haven’t been impressive all year. Bad year in college football

Well 2 SEC programs (UGA/Bama) have more national titles than Ohio State in the last decade. 4 SEC programs (Florida, Georgia, LSU, and Bama) have more national titles than Ohio State in the last 2 decades.

Probably need to win a championship more regularly than once every 12 years for Ohio State to be the “big bad guy” you want to make them out to be. I couldn’t care less if Ohio State beats Texas and wins it all. Congrats, I’d rather see Ohio state than Georgia or Bama win it again

SEC is now a basketball conf.

......and while thats great, I prefer Football.

The SEC will be fine.

Go Texas. - I'll claim them as SEC all day long. They beat the teams on their schedule. May even be better next year.

I hope Bama is better.

If they beat Oregon earlier in the season, then I think this would be different. Them losing on a bad OPI call made losing the Michigan game look that much worse. The Michigan loss was really the headscratcher

I in no way want to say OSU intentionally sandbagged during the season, but they were 123rd in snaps per game at just under 63. Tech was at 80. OSU did intentionally play slow and do full huddles to limit total snaps knowing the team could play 17 total games. So no sandbagging at all, but playing slow deliberabely
