Stupid trick plays like you just saw is the reason he didn’t get the job at Bama. He’s his own worst enemy. Brilliant play caller, but sometimes he overthinks things like you just saw. Drove the ball down the field with ease and decides to let his kicker attempt to throw it in the end zone and gets picked

Edit: I’ve fixed the spelling in the thread title for the smartasses that love to critique spelling

Yep. How many times did ND and UGA take points off the board by going for it on 4th? Silly to me. They add up.

Can't imagine paying Kiffin over 12 million per year so he can fool around on twittter.

When it works, it’s brilliant. When it doesn’t, it’s stupid.

Kiffin has certainly had a high-risk, high-reward philosophy for a couple of years. Maybe, he thinks it’s his best option at Ole Miss.

I think if I were a head coach, I’d probably play it safe, though.

He did. I remember when he only gave Derrick Henry the ball 8 times vs Oklahoma in a game where our defense was having a hard time getting off the field. He gained 100 yards in those 8 carries. That’s when I realized that Kiffen, although a good play caller, he wasn’t as great as everyone or he thought.

Heavy assumption. You may be right though.

Kiffin took Blake Sims and made him a decent quarterback- decent enough to almost win a natty with him.

If he can do that with Blake Sims, he could take Milroe and…. and…..

shite, I couldn’t even get through saying that with a straight face. Not even Kiffin could have made Milroe worth a shite.

Equating Milroe to Sims is laughable (and I've seen people on this sub and Reddit legit make this comparison).

Kiffin isn't turning Milroe into a serviceable QB. No OC is. This is equivalent to saying Kiffin could turn a 70 year old double amputee into Tom Brady.

Making Milroe competent would be a challenge for our Lord and Savior.

Jesus saves souls, he doesn't coach quarterbacks.

People were talking about Nick Sabin or Nick Saben as late as the day Nick Saban retired after 17 seasons.

Blake Sims didn’t have a 5 second argument in his head every time he snapped the ball. He committed and trusted his arm. While not the most accurate passer, we had Cooper waiting on most passes.
